• Taps and dies are made from high-quality carbon steel which provides optimal strength and lasting performance—set covers a wide range of popular sizes: 4-40 to 12-24 machine, 1/4"-28 NF to 1/2"-20 NF and 1/4"-20 NC to 1/2"-13 NC
• Dies are adjustable to allow precise alignment of thread to thread engagement—it is important to be able to make multiple passes when working on hardened fasteners to ensure a precise fit, this minimizes the potential for loosening of fasteners over time that can lead to costly rework
• Double hex geometry provides greater surface engagement with the die stock for precise control
